stunning shadows and mirror mosaics

Yesterday was mostly spent in a bus from Kerman. It was an hour late leaving and we didn't get into Shiraz until well after 9pm.

We just had time for a quick bite to eat before bed.

This morning we ate breakfast early so we could get to the Nasir al Molk mosque while the sun was still low in the sky.

The reason will become apparent in the following photos!















After we crossed the road to the Narenjastan- an historic home so named for the orange trees planted in the garden.



















Then we wandered through the bazaar and the Vakil Mosque:
